The Sahir Show -Defense Day Special-06th September 2011 "And say not of those who are slain in the Way of God: 'They are dead.' Nay, they are living, Though you perceive it not." (Qur'an 2:154) On defense day The Sahir Show paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our dear homeland Pakistan .....whose silence sings our national anthem. Set was decorated with huge posters of Martyrs, Pak Green Flag and mesmerizing green lights. Reema Khan, Abrar-ul-Haq, Humaira Channa, Amjad Islam Amjad, Saira Naseem and most special guests...Martyr's family was invited at the show. Humaira Channa praised pakistani soldiers in her beautiful voice Ay watan k sajeelay jawano.... mery naghmy tumhary liye hen..... Abrarul Haq presented his love for Pakistan by singing.... Ay watan piyary watan.... tho dil afroz baharon ka taro taza chaman tho mehakty hoey pholon ka sohana gulshan..... Theme of the show was nicely presented...higher souls who wear the martyr's crown were praised. These heroes died for liberty - they died for Pakistan's identity-They are at rest. They sleep in the land they made free, under the flag they rendered stainless.... Having paid tribute to the heroes a message was delivered by the host....Sahir said we should finish biasness and live with peace and harmony in the country. Pakistan is a bouquet of flowers made of Roses (Punjab), Orchids (Sindh), Tulips (NWFP) & Lilies (Balochistan).... we all love our dear home land.....Long Live Pakistan!!!  

Asghar Ali with Sahir Lodhi And Shabnam Majeed Ramzan Live Show

In the initial segment of the Sahir show, Shabnam Majeed (famous singer) and her brother Waheed Majeed (music composer) were invited, Shabnam said her brother has been a motivational spirit behind her success in the music industry. Candid interviews with the guests at the show are always quite entertaining there are unpredictle funny moments which illuminate Celebrities personalities and it was fun watching brother and sister interview.

The Sahir show spotlights everyday people with extraordinary stories and talents, Asghar Ali khan…. No arms, But one of the happiest person in the world was the next guest at the show…

What do you do when you have no arms? Your life may seem overwhelming because you may feel like you are missing out on so many things you are unable to do. Asghar Ali Khan is working for a bank and manages his office affairs very well without showing his disability; he surprised the audience with his break-dance performance.

Asghar Ali Khan said… Be thankful for what you have; don’t be bitter for what you don’t have!. It is all about attitude! If you concentrate on what you do have instead of what you don’t have, you are setting yourself up to become a happy person….

Focus on your potential instead of your limitations….

It is said that without inspiration the best powers of the mind remain dormant…There is a fuel in us which needs to be ignited with sparks and people like Asghar Ali Khan with their stories does ignite spark ….
